It's a goddamn symphony in here

It's about 2:30 am, I've probably been asleep for about 3.5 hours and now I'm awake and no less than 3 people of the 5 are snoring EXTREMELY LOUDLY! How am I supposed to heal if I can't sleep. And if I can't heal, I can't leave this godawful place. I think I'll just smother someone with a pillow. At least if I go to jail, it will be away from here.

One night in this shithole, and I'm already losing it. Fantastic.

  1. Jon - I empathize. Traveling in China, I was cold, hungry, lonely, or lost for half of it. The other half was spectacular. I think it's the difference between being on vacation and being on a journey. Journeys are much tougher but much more rewarding. You're on journey. Remember that. And when you're exhausted or lost, just remember: you're in MF'in Antarctica!!!! That's awesome. Take a deep breath and look around. And if you're really bored, here's my China blog ;)

  2. And to further add to the irony, it probably wouldn't be wise to wear ear plugs...
